Pennies for Peace 2011

6th grade students stepped up to the plate, continuing last year's successful Pennies for Peace campaign to raise money for school's in Afghanistan and Pakistan. In future years we're going to choose a new organization to support, in light of the Greg Moretenson scandal. There's always issues with international aid, so we're going to make sure the money we raise goes directly to those in need.

  1. The 6th grade did an amazing job collecting pennies to raise over $547.32 to help build schools in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Congrats to Galludet House for raising the most money for this very important cause!
